Favorite Exercise - Anything in a turn out position! Could be the former ballet dancer in me but whenever a teacher sets up any exercise turned out (high-wide diamond, wide second position, fold over or leg lifts turned out, etc.) I get very VERY excited like... ‘I’ve got this’!

The most obvious answer is that it has completely changed my body. And it has!!!! But it has also changed my life. I‘ve made amazing friends (even as a client!) and I’m a stronger person because of Bar Method...physically and mentally. I‘ve learned that there is nothing (no depth in thigh, no amount on push ups on my toes) that I can’t accomplish. And I love witnessing the moment when my clients learn that about themselves too (even at 6am!).

Favorite Exercise - Pretzel

I love Bar Method for the way it makes me feel both inside and out. It’s a great workout with amazing people.

Favorite Exercise - It’s a hard tie between Pretzel and Arabesque! I love feeling that "zing" in the side of my seat and my lower back and obliques. Plus, I find both positions to be fun and feminine.

Bar Method is my release from the hustle and bustle of my every day life. It gives me an opportunity every class to challenge my mind and my body.

Favorite Exercise - It’s a close tie between Arabesque and Chair. They’re both intense full-body exercises that challenge you physically and mentally. Arabesque wins because it strongly appeals to the ex-dancer in me -- it is an elegant, nuanced, graceful exercise that also literally kicks your booty!

As a former dancer, Amy loves how the dance-inspired workout has given her a more lean, toned body. She’s shocked and excited to have stronger and more defined abs after having 2 kids!

The Bar Method has been an unexpected gift, after Amy signed up for classes without really knowing what she was in for! She found The Bar Method challenging, invigorating, and inspiring and quickly became completely addicted. Amy is passionate about health and fitness, and loves how anybody can do and be challenged by the workout, no matter what his or her level of fitness. She also values the strong sense of community at the studio.

Favorite Exercise - Chair: I love the immediate intensity of the exercise, simultaneously strengthening my quads, back and shoulders. I really love the additional challenge of chair in relevé; it’s a great way to finish the exercise with physical and mental strength!

What‘s not to love? I love the physical changes I’ve seen, but I also really love the consistent challenges, meaningful relationships, mental strengths and continuous improvements that develop as a result of The Bar Method. I‘ve found that the things I learn and experience in my one hour of class translate directly to the other 23 in my day; it’s so much more than a workout!

Favorite Exercise - My absolute favorite Bar Method exercise is Arabesque - even-though this exercise targets the gluteus medius, it is undoubtedly an entire body workout. It keeps your heart rate up and burns a ton of calories. There are so many moments when you want to just let go, rest or move to relax for a split second, but when you challenge yourself to stay in it or increase the intensity (especially when using props) by taking additional options (balancing on releve, extending your arm forward) - it’s all the more gratifying!

Since day one, The Bar Method continues to allow me to challenge my mind and my body, no matter what day of the week or part of class. Personally, I feed on new challenges - this is one workout where I‘ve never hit a plateau, because there is constantly more to learn and advancements in the flow of the workouts. There are so many long-term health benefits that will improve your way of life. I’m excited to watch students accept the ongoing challenges and exceed their strengths class after class.

Favorite Exercise - Arabesque is one of my favorite exercises. It’s super challenging and always makes me feel graceful and poised.

I never feel as though I can plateau in Bar Method. There is always a challenge option or an additional positioning tip that helps me push myself harder. I love how I can still see and feel results more than three years after I started taking class.

Favorite Exercise - Round Back! Why? Round Back trims my thighs, gives me a killer ab burn, stretches my hamstrings, and strengthens my posture. It’s my secret weapon!

I love The Bar Method because it changed my life for the BEST! I became stronger, leaner, more flexible, and developed the most amazing family of friends! As a result, I made The Bar Method my career, my business, my passion -- my religion!

Favorite exercise: Fold-over. Fold-over gives me an intense burn in my seat, (especially on my standing side!) and it also strengthens all of the core muscles. Add in some large-range moves, and it’s really a powerhouse exercise!

Bar Method is the first workout I ever genuinely enjoyed from start to finish. I love that the better your form gets, the more challenging the class becomes! Every class makes me feel graceful, strong, and powerful!

Favorite Exercise - While I grimace most when fold-over is announced as seat work, it is by far my favorite Bar Method exercise. I love the full engagement of both sides of my seat, my abs, and my posture muscles. I work just as hard to hold correct form as I do to lift my seat!

Bar Method is the first work out to show me actual physical results after only a few weeks of class. Because of Bar Method, I stand up taller, feel stronger, walk with more confidence, and have sustained energy throughout the day.

Favorite Exercise - Curl. I have always loved ab work -- even back in the days of having someone kneel on my feet while I did situps during sports practices! -- but the Bar Method curl is so targeted and effective. I also like how making a tiny change like pulling your shoulders back half an inch makes a huge difference in how much you can feel the exercise.

I love Bar Method because it has made me stronger, both physically and mentally. I still vividly remember the first time I did 20 pushups on the balls of my feet. I had decided that I wanted to work up to it, and started with just doing a few on my feet. It took some time, but I finally got there. I felt such a huge sense of accomplishment -- I had to hold back a fist pump!

Favorite Exercise - It is hard to choose one exercise! Honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with all variations of wide second. I always feel the burn immediately and good form is incredibly challenging to hold onto. Otherwise, give me arabesque, high curl with the ball, and clam any day!!!

I love Bar Method because it is life changing. As a client, it endlessly challenges my body and mind. As a teacher, I have the honor to positively impact the clients I teach every day, fulfilling Bar Method’s commitment to build strength, character, confidence, and happiness.

Favorite Exercise - My favorite exercise is back dancing. It’s the icing on the cake.

I love Bar Method because it is by far the most superior sculpting exercise out there.

Favorite Exercise - The rocking plank, because it works every muscle group in your body and it hurts so good!

I love Bar Method because it is the perfect mix of power and grace--the intervals allow you to push yourself to your limits and then you get rewarded with an intense yet soothing stretch.

Favorite exercise: My favorite exercise is Pretzel! It challenges right from the start and I feel the burn in my seat and obliques for days.

I love Bar Method because it continually grows with you. It is a personal practice with the support of a group atmosphere. You can always work to better your form and increase your intensity level. I find that the stronger I get, the harder classes become.

Favorite Exercise - Diagonal seat. A great balance between intense seat sculpting and fat burning.

I love the feeling in my body of being completely spent with nothing left after a very challenging class, and I love the results: a feminine yet strong body!

Favorite Exercise - Pretzel; it is one exercise where you see very clearly over time how much stronger both YOU and the clients become.

The variety; I’m always challenged in Bar Method and I love the shaking.
