Favorite Exercise - Anything in a turn out position! Could be the former ballet dancer in me but whenever a teacher sets up any exercise turned out (high-wide diamond, wide second position, fold over or leg lifts turned out, etc.) I get very VERY excited like... ‘I’ve got this’!
The most obvious answer is that it has completely changed my body. And it has!!!! But it has also changed my life. I‘ve made amazing friends (even as a client!) and I’m a stronger person because of Bar Method...physically and mentally. I‘ve learned that there is nothing (no depth in thigh, no amount on push ups on my toes) that I can’t accomplish. And I love witnessing the moment when my clients learn that about themselves too (even at 6am!).

Favorite Exercise - Chair: I love the immediate intensity of the exercise, simultaneously strengthening my quads, back and shoulders. I really love the additional challenge of chair in relevé; it’s a great way to finish the exercise with physical and mental strength!
What‘s not to love? I love the physical changes I’ve seen, but I also really love the consistent challenges, meaningful relationships, mental strengths and continuous improvements that develop as a result of The Bar Method. I‘ve found that the things I learn and experience in my one hour of class translate directly to the other 23 in my day; it’s so much more than a workout!
